She says that as her London-based private equity house, PCP Capital Partners, recognised the potential of the banking sector two years ago, it is now interested in retail and property. "There will, I think, be some huge returns to be made in those sectors," she says. "There are some valuations there, particularly where distressed sellers are involved, that are beginning to look extremely attractive."   Related Articles Jamie Foxx backtracks over Miley Cyrus Deutsche Post eyes Royal Mail Argyll Partners loses German Woolworth chain to insolvency Manchester United close to new shirt sponsorship deal with Prudential MBO close at troubled Robert Dyas chain Goldmans joins the fray for Barclays $5bn iShares unit Miss Staveley adds in an interview with the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority's magazine Think that she has never felt discriminated against in the Middle East. "Sometimes I am asked if it has ever been difficult for me to do business in the region because I am a woman, but that has not been my experience. If anything, in the West it seems sometimes a lot harder for me than in the Middle East. "The Western media have put me in the spotlight in a way that I have never really regarded as helpful for someone involved in the sort of work I am. There isn't the sort of press interest in me in the Middle East and I welcome that because I can just get my head down and get on with what I have do."
